Radial Arm Horizontal Rotation Drift

Modified on Thu, 14 Feb, 2019 at 11:55 AM

Horizontal drift in the radial arm can be caused by a friction brake that is loose.  First before performing any adjustment check to ensure the mounting plate is level.  To adjust the friction brake in the radial arm locate the friction brake screw on the hub end of the radial arm.  Adjust the friction brake clockwise to increase the tension of brake.  Adjust to the desired tension.
